May I share God's love & Salvation with you?

If you have a "religious team' that you root for, does that "team" explain and encourage you in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?   Or does your "team" act as a bureaucratic agency that requires you to follow a whole bunch of rules that interfere and exhaust you in your pursuit of a one-on-one relationship with Christ?  Does your "team" encourage you to read the Bible by yourself, or are THEY the authority who will let you know what you need to know?  Do you function from rules or from  love?  Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."   Are you interested in "Team Jesus?!"  

If I purchased a million dollar drill rig for my son, and gave it to him, that would be a gift.  It would be free  to him. 

     Christ's shed blood on the cross is His free gift to all of us - He stamped PAID on all of our sins. 

     The moment my son would take possession of that free-to-him drill rig, he would spend most of his life working with it.  He would first find out about how it works.  He'd call the factory rep in to teach him how to use the rig effectively and safely.  He would TELL EVERYONE about his free gift and how he could use it to help his families income, help his community, and create earned income for his later life.  

     The moment we allow our hearts to submit to Christ in submission, contrition, sorrow for our sins, and a desire to change into what God wants us to be, we have just received the GIFT of Salvation.  We have a new CEO (Christ Executive  Officer) that we need to serve and honor - learn to love. We need to get out His instruction manual and find out how He wants us to behave.  We go to the factory rep - perhaps our Pastor - and see if he can guide us in learning about our new CEO.  Some factory reps have NO CLUE what they are talking about.  The instruction manual, the Bible, is what we test everyone's advice against.  Then the proof of our Salvation is that we love our new gift of love and eternal life and have to TELL EVERYONE about it - like I'm doing right now with you!  

Ok.  I'm never gonna beat you over the head with - well - anything.  God is a gentleman.  He knocks at the door of your heart.  If you don't want to open the door - you don't have to . . . but I'm frightened for you. 

Please be clear with me with how I can Connect with you.  I hope I can be the person who represents my Father and isn't an hypocrite.  I want my life to Connect with you and to be available to you if you ever want to open that door.
